Woman Dies in Solo Crash on A9 Near Perth

Tragedy struck on the A9 last Thursday night when Claire Wilson, 55, from Dunfermline, lost her life in a single-vehicle crash.

Crash Shuts Down A9 Northbound

The incident occurred between Luncarty and Bankfoot around 9.20pm on 17 November. Claire was driving a white Mini Cooper, the only vehicle involved. Police closed the northbound A9 for hours during the crash investigation, reopening it at 2.30am the next day.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“Our thoughts are with Claire’s family and friends at this difficult time,” said Sergeant Gordon Dickson. “We’re continuing inquiries to understand what caused the collision.
