Man Arrested After Deadly North London Stabbing Spree
A 46-year-old man was arrested last Saturday afternoon on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in custody at a north London police station.
Two Dead, One Injured in N19 Stabbing Horror
Police were called just before midnight on Thursday, 29 June, to reports of a stabbing on Elthorne Road, N19. Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics.
A 15-year-old boy, later identified as Leonardo Reid from Islington, was found with fatal stab wounds. Despite frantic efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after midnight.
A 23-year-old man was also found seriously injured and rushed to a west London hospital. Sadly, he too later died from his injuries.
Third Victim in Hospital, Condition Stable
A third man, believed to be 28 years old, was discovered at a nearby address with stab wounds. He was taken to a north London hospital where he remains in stable condition, with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Police Appeal for Information
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command and Central North Command Unit are leading the investigation. Families of the victims have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
