  Firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from a rail at London’s Oxford Street Underground station. Crews from the London Fire Brigade arrived at 8.50 a.m. and are currently investigating the fire alert. Three fire engines and crews from Soho and Euston fire stations are on the scene. Passengers have been evacuated from Tottenham Court Road, and the Northern Line has been partially suspended due to fire reports.
