Power Outage Hits Over 70 Homes in Kent Villages
More than 70 homes across Sutton Valence, Langley, Chart Sutton, Kingswood, and East Sutton Hill are in the dark this morning.
Faulty Overhead Equipment Blamed
UK Power Networks spotted the problem at 7:19 a.m. and quickly dispatched engineers to the scene. The blackout is believed to be caused by faulty overhead electrical equipment.
Power Set to Return by Mid-Afternoon
Repair work is underway, with power expected to be restored between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
“We’re sorry for any disruption this may be causing you,” UK Power Networks said on its website. “We’re looking into an overhead electricity equipment fault that caused a power outage in the area.”
