Hull Woman Jailed for Sharing Sick Child Sex Images with Paedo Boyfriend
23-Year-Old Toni Andrews Slapped with 16 Months
Toni Andrews, just 23, from Hull, has been locked up for 16 months after the National Crime Agency (NCA) uncovered her role in a twisted child abuse ring. She was caught taking indecent photos of a child and sending them to her 24-year-old boyfriend, Thomas Edeson.
Paedo Partner Caught After NCMEC Alert
The NCA’s probe into Edeson kicked off in May 2021 following a tip-off from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Edeson had already been convicted for sexually assaulting a young girl and taking vile images of her back in August 2021.
Staggering Haul of Child Abuse Images Found
Detectives found hundreds of indecent images on Andrews’ devices – over 800 in total. These included horrific child sexual abuse images, plus extreme pornography. Andrews admitted to sending one indecent photo to Edeson but claimed she didn’t know about his sick obsession with children.
Justice Served at Hull Crown Court
At Hull Crown Court, Andrews pleaded guilty to seven charges, including taking indecent photos of a child and possession of illegal images. The judge handed down a 16-month prison sentence and slapped her with a 10-year sex offenders register order.
“The demand for this type of illegal material is shockingly high in the UK,” said Holly Triggs, senior NCA investigator. “The NCA is committed to protecting children and making sure offenders face justice.”
