20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Identified in Thorne, Doncaster Collision

The motorcyclist who lost his life in a road traffic collision in the Thorne area of Doncaster has been identified as 20-year-old Alex Anderson. The incident occurred on 16 January around 7.40pm when Alex, riding his Aprilia Tuono motorbike along High Levels Bank (A18), collided with a red Skoda Octavia.

The driver of the Skoda Octavia, a 22-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Alex Anderson, originally from South Wales, had been residing and working in the Scunthorpe and Immingham areas of North Lincolnshire for the past 18 months.

On Monday, 29 January, Alex’s family released a photograph of him and expressed their devastation over his untimely death. They also extended gratitude to the emergency services and everyone who has offered support during this challenging time.

A statement from the family said, “We are devastated by Alex’s death and wish to thank the emergency services and everyone for their support at this time.”

As investigations into the collision continue, authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, possesses footage, or has relevant information to come forward.
