Horrific Racial Abuse on Route 83
Met officers are appealing for help to ID two men behind a sickening racial assault on a bus in Wembley. The attack took place around 6.20pm on December 29, 2023, on a Route 83 bus.
Two older teens targeted five 14-year-old girls with racial abuse and physical assault. Thankfully, none of the girls suffered serious injuries.
CCTV Released as Police Crank Up Hunt
The incident was reported later that evening, sparking an immediate police probe. Now, after extensive inquiries, CCTV snaps of the suspects have been made public.
Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the pair to come forward and help bring them to justice.
Police Take a Zero Tolerance Approach to Hate Crime
PC Matt Cannon, leading the investigation, said: “Thankfully incidents like this are extremely rare on the bus network, but hate crime will never be tolerated. We’re working hard to identify these people as quickly as possible.”
