Two Men Charged Over 2020 Telford Gym Shooting
Two London men are set to stand trial for the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Tamba Momodu outside a Telford gym in 2020. Deria Hassan, 32, from Watford, and Mahamud Tarabi, 32, from Uxbridge, appeared at Kidderminster magistrates on Thursday morning.
Details of the Shooting and Charges
Tamba Momodu was gunned down on October 13, 2020, in the car park of Bridges Business Park in Horsehay as he headed to the gym. An inquest revealed he died from six gunshot wounds to his head and body.
Hassan and Tarabi face charges of murder and arson after a £17,500 vehicle was found burnt out following the shooting.

During the hearing, both men confirmed their details but did not enter a plea. They were remanded in custody and will appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday morning.
West Mercia Police, who have investigated the case for over three years, made arrests with help from Dutch authorities. Three men were initially taken into custody on suspicion of murder and arson.
