Man Injured in Belvedere Bus-Car Smash – But Refuses Hospital
A man was found injured after a late-night crash between a bus and a car in Belvedere early on Thursday morning.
Crash Shuts Roads in Belvedere
The collision happened at the junction of Eastern Way and Clydesdale Way around 12:40am on 24 October 2024. Emergency crews from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene following reports of the incident.
Injured Man Treated and Released
Paramedics treated the man at the crash site. Although he suffered injuries, he refused hospital treatment and left the scene.
A spokesperson from London Ambulance Service said, “We were called at 12:37am this morning (Thursday 24 October) to reports of a traffic collision at the junction of Eastern Way and Clydesdale Way, DA18. We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car. Our crews assessed a man at the scene, before he was released, declining further aid.”
Roads Reopened, Investigation Ongoing
Authorities temporarily closed roads to allow emergency teams to work safely. The roads have since reopened. Police continue to monitor the area but have not disclosed the cause of the crash.
