Wiltshire Police Appeal for Witnesses After Man Found with Serious Injuries in Swindon

 

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with serious head injuries late last night in Swindon. The incident occurred at around 10:55 pm on 22 October 2024, when officers were called to Cirencester Way, near the Transfer Bridges Roundabout, after reports of a pedestrian found collapsed in lane one of the road.

The injured man, believed to be in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. Police have set up a cordon at the scene to conduct enquiries, but the road has since been reopened.

Authorities are currently keeping an open mind regarding the cause of the man’s injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.

Wiltshire Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information about what happened to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 354 of 22 October.
