Fatal Collision Shakes Clapham

A man in his 40s has died after a collision with a moped on Poynders Road at the junction with Clarence Avenue, SW4 in Clapham. The fatal crash occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, December 10, sparking a police investigation.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at 00:03 hrs. Despite efforts by the London Ambulance Service, the pedestrian was pronounced dead there and then. The moped rider was seriously injured and remains in critical condition in hospital.
