Hunt on for Three Men After Fatal Hackney Stabbing of Jason Romeo, 20
Detectives are in a race against time to track down three suspects linked to the deadly stabbing of 20-year-old Jason Romeo in Hackney.
Deadly Attack on Bodney Street
Jason was fatally stabbed outside a property on Bodney Street, E5 at 5:59 PM on Tuesday, February 18. Paramedics fought to save him at the scene but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Police Name Three Wanted Men
Officers have identified three men they urgently want to question in connection with the murder. The suspects are:
- Raynolph Asante, 22
- Rhamyah Bailey-Edwards, 21
- Travis Mitchell, 21
All three are known to frequent the Hackney, Walthamstow, and Deptford areas. Police have warned the public not to approach them.
Detective Pleads for Help
“Our team is working tirelessly to identify those responsible for Jason’s tragic death. We now need the public’s help to trace Asante, Bailey-Edwards, and Mitchell,” said Detective Superintendent Kelly Allen. “If you have any information, call 999 immediately.”
“We understand how deeply this has affected the community. Our officers will conduct increased weapons searches, patrols, and house-to-house enquiries over the weekend. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we bring the culprits to justice.”
