Three Men Charged Over Forest Gate Shooting Spree
Three men have now been charged following a violent shooting in Forest Gate, Newham, that left one man with a gunshot wound and two others injured in a brutal afternoon attack.
Gunfire Erupts on Dunbar Road
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the latest arrest today (Friday, 9 May 2025) after an incident on Dunbar Road at 2:42pm on Tuesday, 29 April.
Mohammed Akbar Khan, 42, from Castle Road, Milton Keynes, was slapped with charges of violent disorder and two counts of grievous bodily harm. He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 6 May and is due back at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 3 June.
Police arrived to find a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound, plus two others suffering facial injuries. All were rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service. Thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening.
Two Others Already Busted
- Mohammed Abdullah Khan, 22, of Upton Lane, E7, faces serious charges including attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and possession of a prohibited firearm. He will face the Old Bailey on 30 May.
- Mohammed Qasam Khan, 37, from Sprowston Road, E7, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and violent disorder. His next court date at Snaresbrook Crown Court is also 3 June.
All in Custody, Await Justice
All three men remain remanded in custody as investigations continue. The Forest Gate community awaits justice after this shocking daylight attack.
