The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation after gunshots were reportedly heard in Ladywell Fields, a public park in Lewisham, on Tuesday, May 14.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 3:43 PM, following multiple reports of gunfire. Officers responded swiftly, but no suspects were located, and no injuries have been reported.
No Arrests, Investigation Underway
At this time, no arrests have been made, and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information or footage to come forward.
A Met Police spokesperson said:
“Officers attended but there were no suspects at the scene and no reported injuries. An investigation is underway and any witnesses are asked to contact police.”
