Gunshots Ring Out in Lewisham’s Ladywell Fields
The Metropolitan Police have launched a probe after gunshots were reportedly heard in Ladywell Fields, a busy public park in Lewisham, on Tuesday, May 14.
Officers rushed to the scene around 3:43 PM following multiple calls reporting gunfire. Despite the swift response, no suspects were found and thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
No Arrests Yet as Police Appeal for Witnesses
So far, there have been no arrests. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant footage to come forward.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended but there were no suspects at the scene and no reported injuries. An investigation is underway and any witnesses are asked to contact police.”
