Rape Investigation Launched in Walthamstow Town Square
Police have launched a full investigation after a woman was allegedly raped in Walthamstow Town Square in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the scene on Sunday, 29 June, following reports of an attack. The victim came forward to report the assault, prompting police to seal off the area as detectives dig deeper into the case.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the investigation is at an early stage. A force spokesperson urged the public to come forward with any information.
“We are in the early stages of our investigation and ask anyone with information, including those who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the Town Square area, to come forward as soon as possible.”
