Hammersmith Murder: Police Hunt Suspect’s Motorbike

Detectives are desperate to track down a motorbike linked to the brutal shooting of 30-year-old Jordan Oliver Rodney in Hammersmith. Jordan was fatally shot in Claxton Grove, W6, just before midnight on Wednesday, 11 June.

Tragic Shooting in Claxton Grove

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene after reports of gunfire, finding two men with gunshot wounds. Jordan, from Northolt, was taken to hospital but died the next day despite doctors’ best efforts. A second man, also in his 30s, sustained minor injuries and has since been discharged.

Yamaha MT-09 Motorbike Key to Investigation

The Metropolitan Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a Yamaha MT-09 Tracer motorbike believed to have been used by the shooter. CCTV caught the bike in the Ealing area near Eaton Rise, and detectives think it could be crucial evidence.

“We are working at pace on this investigation,” said Detective Chief Inspector Alex Gammampila. “If you saw the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer on or after the day of the shooting near Eaton Rise or anywhere else, please contact us immediately.”

Man Charged Over Shooting

Jahmel Joseph, 28, from Eaton Rise, Ealing, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and dangerous driving. He is currently in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday 2 September.
