Dramatic Rescue Under Humber Bridge After Person Falls
At 9.05pm on September 7, 2025, emergency crews scrambled to the Humber Bridge following reports of a person who had fallen. The alert triggered an immediate and large-scale rescue mission.
Humber Rescue and RNLI Join Forces
The independent lifeboat team, Humber Rescue, stationed right at the bridge, responded instantly. They were joined by the RNLI’s Humber Lifeboat Station based near Grimsby on the south bank. Both units work round-the-clock to tackle emergencies in this treacherous stretch of water.
Search and Rescue Operation in Full Swing
A helicopter hovered overhead as crews combed the area. The mission is underway with full resources committed. Authorities from Humber Coastguard and Humberside Police have been contacted for official statements.
