Hampshire Constabulary swooped on the Red Funnel car ferry terminal in East Cowes just after midnight on Wednesday. The area was put on lockdown as officers carried out a stop and search operation following a tip-off about a suspicious vehicle boarding the ferry at southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton.

Four People and Car Searched

Police stopped a car with four occupants for questioning. Officers conducted thorough searches, but no arrests were made, and nothing was seized during the operation.
