Masked Robber Hits One Stop in Havant – Walks Off with £250

Police are hunting a brazen thief who stormed into One Stop on Emsworth Road, Havant, and demanded cash from staff last night.

Robber Strikes at 9.30pm Wearing Tights Over His Head

At around 9.30pm on Monday 10 June, a man with a pair of tights pulled over his head burst into the shop and forced staff to hand over money from the tills. He grabbed roughly £250 and fled on foot towards Southleigh Road, carrying the stolen cash inside an Asda ‘bag for life’.

Suspect Spotted Looming by Car Park

Witnesses say the suspect was hanging about under the trees near the shop’s car park just before the raid.

Police Description of the Suspect

  • Male, between 5’10” and 6’2” tall
  • Average to broad build
  • Wearing a grey top and black bottoms
  • Carrying an Asda ‘bag for life’
