Detectives Investigating The Murder Of Tyler Hurley In Chadwell Heath Will Return To The Scene One Week On From His Death To Appeal For Witnesses And Information

Detectives investigating the murder of Tyler Hurley in Chadwell Heath will return to the scene one week on from his death to appeal for witnesses and information. Police were called at 15:55hrs on Monday, 14 March to reports of a stabbing on board a Route 173 bus at High Road, close to the junction with Woodlands Avenue, Chadwell Heath. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. Tyler, who was 16, was taken to hospital for treatment to a stab injury but later died. A man has been charged with Tyler’s murder and remanded in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers who leads the investigation said: “My officers will be back at the scene one week on from Tyler’s murder as we continue to gather information about the events that led to this tragic incident. “If you have any information that you think could help this investigation then please either speak to one of my team or give police a call.” Any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the incident room on 020 8345 3715.
