One Week on from Tragic Bus Stabbing, Police Return to Scene to Hunt Witnesses
Detectives investigating the murder of 16-year-old Tyler Hurley in Chadwell Heath are heading back to the scene one week after his fatal stabbing.
Stabbing on Route 173 Bus Shocks East London
Police were called at 3.55pm on Monday, 14 March, following reports of a stabbing aboard a Route 173 bus on High Road, near Woodlands Avenue. Tyler was rushed to hospital with a stab wound but sadly later died.
Suspect in Custody as Police Push for Leads
A man has been charged with Tyler’s murder and remanded in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, leading the investigation, vowed to keep up the pressure.
“My officers will be back at the scene one week on from Tyler’s murder as we continue to gather information about the events that led to this tragic incident,” he said. “If you have any information that you think could help this investigation then please either speak to one of my team or give police a call.”
