A Man Has Died In The Reception Area Of The Stoke Newington Police Station:he Hadn't Been Detained Or Arrested By Officers And He Entered The Front Office Of His Own Volition

Officers were forced to close the station shortly before 7pm as a result of the tragedy. The death is not being treated as suspicious, Met Police  have said "A Hackney Police shared details of the incident in a statement, informing the public that Islington and Edmonton stations are the nearest. Both are open 24-hours. Stoke Newington police station is currently closed after a man died in the front office area shortly before 7pm on Sat 5 Nov,’ a spokesman said. A man has died in the reception area of the Stoke Newington police station (pictured). Officers were forced to close the station shortly before 7pm as a result of the tragedy   The man who died is a white man in his 60s. At no point was he detained or arrested by officers and he entered the front office of his own volition. The circumstances are under investigation.
