Man Wanted Over Horrific Leeds Bar Rape
British Transport Police have released a photo of a man they urgently want to speak to after a woman was raped in a Leeds bar bathroom.
Attack at Stone Roses Bar Shocks City
The horrific assault happened between 2am and 4am on Sunday, 12 October inside the Stone Roses bar. The victim was attacked in the bathroom, leaving the local community reeling.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
The investigation was handed over to British Transport Police on Thursday, 16 October once the location was confirmed. Detectives are desperate for anyone who recognises the man in the image or who spoke to him that night to come forward immediately.
“This is a shocking and horrific incident, and we are working at pace to identify and locate who is responsible,” said Detective Constable Rob Wyllie. “I would urge anyone who recognises the man in the image, or who may have spoken to him on the night, to get in touch with us as soon as possible, as we believe he may be able to assist us with our investigation.”
