Unlicensed Teen Speeds on Stolen Bike

Daizie Arnold, 20, from Avery Hill, admitted to dangerous driving and stealing a motorbike. On July 13, she smashed through a no-entry sign on Leyland Road riding a Honda 125.

Blazing 50mph in a 20mph Zone

Arnold then zoomed along Osberton Road at 50mph—more than double the 20mph speed limit. The bike wasn’t hers; she took it without permission. Court papers reveal she wasn’t the first thief, but her reckless driving damaged the bike.

Judge Suspends Jail Sentence

Unlicensed and uninsured, Arnold faced Bromley Magistrates’ Court on October 16. She got a one-year jail sentence – but it was suspended for 12 months thanks to a clean record and a “realistic prospect of rehabilitation.”

She also received a one-year driving ban and was ordered to pay £300 compensation to the bike’s owner.
