Blackhorse Road Crash Sparks Chaos in Walthamstow

Expect major disruption near Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow after a serious car crash shut down the busy junction. Police and emergency services have cordoned off the area, causing traffic chaos for commuters.

Witnesses Reveal Harrowing Crash Scene

Eye-witness Alexi Smith described the shocking moment a car slammed into a building. “It was horrible,” he said. “The driver sped past, then there was a loud bang. At first, I thought it was a tyre popping but it turned out he hit someone.”

Other bystanders rushed to the scene, with Alexi adding: “The driver was thankfully unharmed, but I’m not sure about the person who got hit. It was awful.”

Paramedics were seen performing CPR nearby. Witness Hediye Koles confirmed: “I don’t know what happened exactly, but paramedics were giving CPR. It was terrible to watch.”

Heroes Under Fire for Helping Trapped Driver

Alexi hit back at critics who slammed him and another man for smashing a car window to help a trapped driver. “Someone called us ‘idiots’ for doing what the driver asked — breaking the window,” he said. “There was a burning smell inside and no clear way out.”

“We stayed calm and helped. Lifting a heavy glass panel off the roof with our bare hands wasn’t easy. If you weren’t there, please keep your opinions to yourself,” Alexi added defiantly.

Traffic Nightmare Ahead – Avoid Blackhorse Road

With the junction closed, expect long delays and diversions in Walthamstow. Emergency crews are still on the scene clearing the wreckage. Drivers should avoid Blackhorse Road and seek alternative routes to dodge the chaos.
