Grimsby Man Guilty of Child Sex Crimes at Leeds Crown Court
Suleman Baig, 40, from Grimsby, has admitted a shocking catalogue of child sex offences. The damning confession came on day two of his trial at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday, 9 December 2025.
Shocking Charges Laid Bare
Baig faces a raft of serious charges, including:
- Three counts of sexual activity with a child
- Two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- Two counts of paying for sexual services of a child
- Two counts of sexual communications with a child
- Two counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice
- Attempting to pay for sexual services of a child
- Sexual assault
- Making indecent photographs of children
- Possession of prohibited images of children
Grooming and Attempts to Cover Up Exposed
Baig preyed on two young girls, grooming and coercing them into sexual acts. He also forced them to send explicit images. When the victims tried to speak out, Baig pushed them to retract their statements, trying to dodge punishment.
Sentencing Scheduled for January
The vile predator is due back in Leeds Crown Court on Monday, 26 January 2026, to hear his sentence. While justice edges closer, the trauma left behind by Baig’s actions will linger.
