Elderly Woman Dies After Falling from Moving Car in Tonbridge
Tragedy on Hectorage Road
Shock rocked Tonbridge on Tuesday evening when an elderly woman plunged from a moving car and later died from her injuries. The horror unfolded around 5.30pm on 3 March 2026.
A silver Vauxhall Mokka was stationary on Hectorage Road before pulling away when the woman, a passenger in her 80s sitting on the rear nearside, suddenly fell onto the road.
Critical Injuries Prove Fatal
Emergency services rushed the critically injured woman to hospital, but despite their efforts, she sadly passed away.
Police Launch Serious Collision Probe
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is urgently seeking witnesses to shed light on the tragedy.
“We’re especially keen to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or who saw what happened,” said officers.
