A 15-year-old boy from Birmingham has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed inside McDonald’s at the Ventura Retail Park in Tamworth on Monday evening.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service responded swiftly to the 8.24pm call reporting a stabbing on Bitterscote Drive. One ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a specialist trauma team arrived at the scene.
They found a teenage male suffering from a stab wound to his lower back. The victim was treated on site for potentially serious injuries before being rushed to the hospital for further assessment.
Police Confirm Arrest as Investigation Continues
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “A teenager has been arrested after a boy was stabbed in Tamworth. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
The suspect remains in custody on suspicion of affray as investigations carry on. Officers urge anyone with information to come forward.
