Massive Fire Erupts on Heathfield Road

A huge blaze tore through a pub on Heathfield Road, Keston, on Saturday Night 18th April 2026. Eight fire engines and about 60 firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the flames.

Firefighters Fight Flames From Above

The London Fire Brigade revealed the fire engulfed parts of the first floor, second floor, and roof at its peak. They deployed a 32-metre turntable ladder as an observation tower to gain the upper hand and control the fire from above.

Swift Response Brings Fire Under Control

Control Officers received the first of six emergency calls at 10:33pm. Crews from Biggin Hill, Bromley, Orpington, and nearby stations were quickly mobilised. The blaze was declared under control by 12:14am. The fire crews’ rapid response prevented what could have been a devastating disaster in this quiet corner of London.
