Tragic Crash Outside Blue Boar Inn: Van Driver Dies After Horrific Smash

West Midlands Ambulance Service was alerted at 7:13pm on Tuesday to a serious road traffic collision outside the Blue Boar Inn. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer rushed to the scene.
Driver Trapped in Wreckage
A van suffered severe damage in the crash. The driver, a man, was trapped inside the mangled vehicle. Paramedics teamed up with firefighters to free him.
Heartbreaking Outcome
“Despite our best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man,” said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman. “He was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.”
