Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was found dead in Sheerness. The victim, a man in his 50s, was discovered with a stab wound inside a private home on Alma Road.
Police Called to Disturbance
Kent Police were called at 4:32pm on Thursday 16 April 2026 following reports of a disturbance. Officers arrived to find the injured man, who sadly died shortly afterwards. His next of kin have been informed.
Two Arrested and in Custody
A 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both local to Sheerness, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A cordon is still in place at the scene. Investigators urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
