Northamptonshire Police Bags New Deputy Chief Constable
Northamptonshire Police has officially appointed Ash Tuckley as its new Deputy Chief Constable after a tough three-stage selection at Wootton Hall.
Ash has been acting as temporary Deputy since June 2024 but now steps up permanently. The policing veteran has clocked over 20 years in various frontline and leadership roles with Northamptonshire Police.

Ash’s career highlights include neighbourhood policing, response duties, hostage and crisis negotiation, and managing the Force Control Room.
He’s also a Specialist Strategic Firearms and Public Order Gold Commander and trained Multi-Agency Incident Commander.
