Blaze Erupts in Worcester Park Home – Firefighters Battle Fierce Flames
Emergency services were scrambled this morning after a major house fire ripped through a property on Caverleigh Way in Worcester Park.
Massive Fire Devours Half the House
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters are currently battling the blaze. Flames have gutted half of the ground floor and part of the first floor, leaving the home badly damaged.
Rapid Response After Multiple 999 Calls
The London Fire Brigade got its first of eight urgent calls at 9:58am. Fire crews from Sutton, Mitcham, and Kingston fire stations raced to the scene within minutes, facing thick smoke and ferocious heat.
Cause Unknown as Investigations Loom
The reason behind the blaze remains a mystery. Fire investigators will probe the scene once the fire is fully out and the area deemed safe.
