Man Found Dead on Isle of Wight Bank Holiday Morning
Hampshire Police were scrambled just before 6am on Monday to a grim discovery in Wootton, Isle of Wight. A man’s body was found near Harwoods Garage on High Street, sparking a police cordon that was later lifted.
Ambulance Called But Man Pronounced Dead at Scene
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service rushed to the scene but sadly confirmed the man, believed to be in his 50s, was dead on arrival.
Police Confirm No Suspicion in Death
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a premises in the High Street, Wootton, at around 5.55am on Monday, May 6. The body of a man in his 50s was found at the premises. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.”
