A family has been left devastated after four-year-old Jan was killed in a tragic bus crash outside Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital.
Tragedy Strikes Outside Margate Hospital
The heartbreaking incident happened just after 4pm on Thursday, 7 August 2025, near the A&E entrance. Jan, described as a “funny, cheeky little boy with a smile that lit up every room,” was at the hospital with his family when the fatal collision occurred.
Child Dies Despite Immediate Help
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, Jan was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. His family are mourning the loss of a bright spark gone too soon.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
