Tragic Stabbing Claims Life of Croydon Man
Detectives have named the victim of a Croydon stabbing as Tyler Roye, 24, a local resident. Police were called to Stroud Green Way in the early hours of Wednesday, 26 February, after London Ambulance Service found Mr Roye with stab wounds at 12.15am.
Brutal Attack Claims Young Life
Despite urgent treatment at the scene and hospital, Tyler was pronounced dead at 2.46am. Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday, 27 February, at Croydon University Hospital mortuary.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector John Massey, leading the probe, described the assault as “brutal and frenzied.” He urged anyone who saw, heard, or recorded anything around Stroud Green Way before, during, or after the attack to come forward immediately.
“This has ended a young man’s life. If you have information but haven’t spoken to police yet, please get in touch,” DCI Massey said.
