Dad Stabbed Multiple Times in Children’s Playground in Maidstone
A young father was left critically injured after being stabbed several times while watching his kids play in a local park in Maidstone, we can reveal.
Brutal Attack at Busy Children’s Play Area
The 20-something dad was attacked with a knife on Sunday evening at the Parkwood Rec play area on Bicknor Road, right outside Holy Family Primary School.
The horrifying incident happened around 10pm, sending shockwaves through the community as families were quietly enjoying the park.
Massive Emergency Response and Air Ambulance Called
Paramedics and air ambulance doctors rushed to the scene. The Kent, Sussex and Surrey air ambulance landed directly on the park to take the victim to a London hospital.
Armed police and multiple dog units were also deployed, locking down the area and launching an urgent manhunt.
Family Arrives Amid Ongoing Police Investigation
Relatives of the stabbed man arrived shortly after the attack. They were seen talking with officers amid a large crime scene cordon.
The suspected attacker is believed to live locally. Police have yet to release a statement, but a major search is underway to find the knifeman.
Kent Police have been approached for comment.
