Man Hospitalised After Car and Moped Smash in Anerley
A man has been rushed to hospital following a crash involving a car and a moped in Anerley earlier today.
Crash Shuts Anerley Road for Hours
Emergency services were scrambled to Anerley Road, Bromley, at 12:09 PM on Friday, 11 April after reports of a collision.
Met Police officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived swiftly. They found the injured man at the scene and gave him urgent treatment.
Victim’s Injuries Not Life-Threatening
The man, believed to be the moped rider, was taken to hospital where doctors confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At 12:09hrs, police were called to Anerley Road, Bromley, following reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a moped. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service who treated a man before taking him to hospital. His injuries were confirmed non-life threatening. There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.”

Police are probing the crash circumstances. No arrests have been made so far.
Anerley Road has now reopened, but motorists are urged to drive with caution.
