Young Man Stabbed in Croydon: Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man was brutally stabbed in Croydon, left fighting for his life. The attack happened just before midnight on Sunday, 28 July, on Imperial Way.
Critical Condition After Multiple Stab Wounds
Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene where they found a 23-year-old with multiple stab wounds. He was airlifted to a south London hospital and remains in critical condition. His family has been informed.
No Arrests Yet – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Detectives have made no arrests so far. A/Detective Chief Inspector Lewis Collins said:
“A young man had been left in a critical condition after being stabbed repeatedly. We believe there were a number of people present who had been to a nearby social event, which then spilled out onto the street.”
He added:
“We want to hear from anyone who attended this event, saw what led up to the stabbing, witnessed the attack, or saw anyone running from the scene. If you have any information, please contact police on 101 or @MetCC on Twitter. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
The police are desperate for help to catch those responsible for this savage attack.
