Tragic Blaze in Hamstreet: Child Dies as Firefighters Battle Fierce House Fire
Firefighters raced to a brutal house fire today on White Admiral Way, Hamstreet, Ashford. Six fire engines and a height vehicle tore to the scene to tackle the raging flames engulfing a semi-detached home.
One Child Dead, Another and Adult Hospitalised
In a heartbreaking turn, a child was found dead inside the property. Another child and an adult were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries but have been released following hospital checks.
Community Rallies As Investigation Begins
Kent Fire and Rescue Service have scaled back operations to just two engines as crews continue cooling hotspots. Residents and travellers in the area can now breathe easier — no need to keep windows and doors shut.
