Pensioner Critically Hurt in Shocking South East London Superbike Smash

A pensioner is fighting for her life after being struck by a superbike on a busy South East London road last Saturday afternoon.

Chaos in Well Hall Road

The incident happened on Well Hall Road, between Eltham and Woolwich, near the Arsenal Road junction. Police have shut the road to traffic, turning the scene into a grim emergency zone.

A large pool of blood and scattered medical gear marked where the woman, believed to be in her 70s, was desperately treated before being airlifted to a major trauma centre.

Emergency Services Race to Scene

London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at 3.19pm on May 23rd. They deployed an ambulance crew, two rapid response medics, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a woman at the scene for head, arm and leg injuries and took her to a major trauma centre in London,” a spokesperson confirmed.

Motorcyclist Arrested, Investigation Underway

The Met Police revealed officers arrived shortly after 3.20pm. The woman sustained serious injuries. Her current condition remains unknown.

The superbike rider, a man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Police have launched a full collision investigation as they piece together what led to this horror crash.
