Teen bitten by Rottweiler in Goring Park

Police are on the hunt after a 15-year-old boy was bitten by a dog in Goring.

Dog attack sparks urgent appeal

The shocking attack happened around 5.30pm on Monday, 1 September, on Coleridge Road.

The boy was walking with a friend along Coleridge Crescent when a man with a Rottweiler approached. As they passed, the dog suddenly jumped up and bit the teenager on his arm.

Victim treated and recovering at home

The startled youngster called his mum, who rushed to the scene. But the man with the dog had vanished by then.

The boy was taken to hospital where he received treatment and has now been discharged. He is recovering at home.

Police need your help

Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with info to come forward to help track down the dog owner.
