Ball Bearing Attack Smashes Windows in Local Spate of Vandalism

On the evening of October 19, several vehicles and a home came under attack from what police believe were ball bearings. The vandalism spree left a Ford Transit van’s windscreen damaged, a kitchen window cracked, and a Land Rover’s window smashed.

Multiple Incidents Across the Same Evening

  • Between 6.30pm and 10.45pm, a Ford Transit van’s windscreen was hit.
  • At an address on The Common, a kitchen window was cracked by a suspected ball bearing.
  • The Land Rover’s window was smashed between 6pm and 8pm.

Police Seek Witnesses

Authorities are urging anyone who was around the area on October 19 and spotted suspicious behaviour to come forward. “We want to hear from anyone who saw something unusual that evening,” a spokesperson said.
