Police Release Images in Hunt for Bus Sex Assault Suspect

Police are hunting a man linked to more than 10 sexual assaults on London buses over the past two years. The attacks happened between February 2022 and September 2023, mostly in the afternoons and evenings across Ealing, Hammersmith, Westminster, and Hounslow.

Suspect Targets Muslim Women on Busy Bus Routes

The suspect often boards buses at hotspots like Westfield Shepherd’s Bush, Ealing Broadway, or Acton High Street. His modus operandi? Sitting next to Muslim women and making unwanted physical contact—without saying a word.

Detective Urges Public to Help Crack Case

“We recognise the community’s concerns and are working hard to find this man,” said Detective Sergeant Matthew Brown of the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Command. “If anyone recognises his clothing or other features, please get in touch.”

The released images show the suspect with his face covered, but police hope the public can help ID him based on his outfit and behaviour. Detective Brown also called on victims who haven’t spoken to police to come forward for support and to aid the investigation.
