Chaos Erupts at Maidstone Playground
The shocking attack happened around 10pm on Sunday, May 22, at the Parkwood Rec play area on Bicknor Road, Maidstone — right outside Holy Family Primary School.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene, including paramedics, armed police, dog units, and the Kent, Sussex and Surrey air ambulance, which landed on the rec to airlift the victim to a London hospital.
57-Year-Old Arrested as Police Launch Manhunt
Kent Police were called at 9:56pm following reports of an assault. A 57-year-old man has been arrested and taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
The suspect is understood to live locally, but officers have launched a manhunt amid ongoing inquiries. A large crime scene remains cordoned off.
