Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight in Rainham
A 17-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after a brutal knife attack on Lower Mardyke Avenue, Rainham, this morning.
Knife Attack Sparks Major Police Probe
The stabbing happened just after 10am near the Orchard Village estate, igniting a large-scale police investigation.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service raced to the scene following reports of a violent clash involving a group of youths. Paramedics treated the teenager’s stab wound onsite before rushing him to hospital.
A police spokesperson said: “A 17-year-old boy suffered a stab wound following a reported altercation in Lower Mardyke Avenue at around 10.09am. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and later taken to hospital, where he remains. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening but may potentially be life changing.”
No Arrests Yet as Crime Scene Stands Firm
As of Monday afternoon, no arrests have been made. Police have kept a cordon in place at Broadis Way near Lower Mardyke Avenue. Around 10 emergency vehicles were spotted around 11am, with eyewitness videos spreading online.
Detectives are combing through CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses in a bid to crack the case.

Authorities urge anyone who was nearby or has dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident to come forward.
