Tragic Crash Claims Life of 34-Year-Old Man in Early Morning Horror
Deadly Collision at 3.40am
A black Vauxhall Corsa slammed into tragedy around 3.40am on Sunday, 3 April. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road Closure and Investigation
Police shut the road for hours to carry out a thorough collision investigation. It finally reopened at 11.20am.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant David Kerr expressed sympathy for the victim’s family, saying: “Our thoughts are very much with the family of the man who died.”
He urged anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward. “Please get in touch to assist with our inquiries,” Sgt Kerr added.
