Late-Night Blaze Rips Through Dartford Flat
Neighbours were left horrified after a fire tore through a flat in Dartford late on Sunday night. The inferno broke out just after 11pm on Mitchell Close, sparking a frantic emergency response.
Two Hospitalised as Fire Devastates Property
Kent Fire and Rescue teams arrived quickly, alongside paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service. One person was treated at the scene, while two others were rushed to hospital following the blaze that completely gutted the first-floor flat.
Frightened Locals Speak Out
One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “We were all shocked, you don’t expect to see something like that in the middle of the night where you live, it’s scary. Thank God nobody was seriously hurt.”
Another added: “There was a big commotion with flashing lights everywhere. All the curtains were twitching. They seemed to have it under control pretty quickly luckily.”
Fire Service Investigates Cause
A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed: “Crews from Dartford attended a fire in a first-floor flat. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.”
