Six-Year-Old Boy Hit by Mobility Scooter Rider Who Failed to Stop in Gosport

Police are hunting for a mobility scooter rider who crashed into a six-year-old boy in Gosport and then fled the scene.

Boy Trapped Under Scooter

The incident happened on Anns Hill Road between 12:30pm and 1:20pm on August 21. The young boy was walking on the pavement when the scooter struck him, trapping him underneath. Thankfully, he only suffered minor injuries.

Rider Flees Scene

The female scooter rider failed to stop after the collision. Police describe her as around 70 years old, with brown curly hair and glasses.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“We want to speak to this woman to piece together exactly what happened,” said PC Paul Rogers. “If this was you, please get in touch.”
